My favorite Halloween store...is....now...open!!!

Ok, I'm pretty stoked right now. I just discovered that the best Halloween store in the area is already open. It's called Evangeline's Costume Mansion, and it is a super cool place. The upstairs part is devoted strictly to all things Halloween, and it is only open during this time of year. Costumes, make-up, wigs, music, wicked props and decorations....you name it, they have it. When you're there, you feel like you're inside a haunted old Victorian house. It's way cool. I will have to pay them a visit veeeery soon. hehe

I wish we had a store like that here, I could see myself blowing a whole paycheck in there! I think I would probably visit that store every day from the sound of it.

Yep, you definitely would! LOL And yes, it would very easy to blow a paycheck in this place! They have so much cool stuff. I should try to take pics of it this year because it really is something to see. Their costumes range from historical (Victorian, Renaissance, Medieval, etc.), to modern, to fetish...you name it! What I really love, though, is how wonderfully it's decorated.

I never thought about photographing stores before, but I really like how Rot takes cool photos of stores, windows, and anything Halloween related. I want to start doing that. I'll definitely try to get some photos of Evangeline's.

I'm going to have to do that too... I was in a store just last night thinking I should have brought my camera because of the awesome displays they had. Bought a Yankee Candle Pumkin Spice air freshener for my car too... it made me think about Halloween all the way home from work this morning.

Oh, that's funny! I bought that same car freshener two weeks ago! I love pumpkin spice. I swear, I could smell that thing when I was just walking past my car with the windows down! It's strong! Smells yummy, though..:)
